The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has just recently announced new requirements for Post Graduate Work Permit for International Students starting November 1st, 2024, there would be new requirements for International students looking to apply to the Post Graduate Work Permit Program (PGWP). Some things haven't changed though. You still need to meet the General and Physical Location eligibility requirements and complete a program at an eligible PGWP Eligible Institution . Also, if you graduate from a PGWP Eligible Flight school, the new eligibility requirements do not apply to you. As at today, 10th October, 2024, Users under the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company have been unable to purchase their tokens from their respective apps.

This is as a result of a downtime of the IKEDC Platform for Vending tokens.

For users who reached out on their IKEDC X account, there was a generic message. You probably must have gotten the same message. It reads:

Please be informed that there is currently a network outage affecting our vending platforms. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused you. Thank you for contacting Ikeja Electric.

We would continue to give you updates on the matter but for now, IKEDC is down and you can't pay for electric bills. Do well to turn off non-essential appliances to avoid running out of electricity tokens.
